Uganda: Top TV Can Appeal - Fufa

Kampala — Top Tv are free to appeal to Fufa. Mr Zubairi Galiwango, the federation assistant general secretary told The Monitor that the federation is ready to listen to a hearing.

"The decision to demote them (Top Tv) was done by the league committee," Galiwango said.

He added that Top Tv should exploit all the necessary channels before going to court.

Fufa Secretary Haruna Mawanda has been assigned to handle the.case.

Club Chairman Emmanuel Sserunjogi confirmed that he talked to Mawanda over the weekend.

He said: "Mawanda was not happy that went to the press and we are contemplating going to court as well."

But Sserunjogi said that Fufa is the one which took the decision to demote his club on the recommendations of the league committee.

He blamed Fufa for hurrying the decision. However, Sserunjogi said that they are still open to talks with Fufa.
