Kampala — Dr. Hashimoto researcher and the founder of a japanese NGO "Kalinzu Forest project', lectures children
On July 8, this year, a Japanese NGO called "Kalinzu Forest Project", inaugurated "Kalinzu Forest Conservation Education Centre" in Bushenyi District.
The small classroom-looking centre is designed for visitors to explore and enjoy the rich natural resources of the forest reserve. The "Grant Assistance for Japanese NGO Projects" of the Japanese Government was used to finance the building.
The Centre currently operates various educational activities for free:
Monthly Special lectures, Sunday Open School and Programmes for primary schools.
The Centre is located next to Nkombe Forest Station at 32km from Bushenyi town and five hours' drive away from Kampala on the way to the Queen Elizabeth National Park.
