Nigeria: 'Local Vaccine Production Beneficial'

Benin-City — Local production of vaccines could save the Federal Government billions of naira that are annually spent on the importation of vaccines for the treatment of certain deadly diseases such as polio disease.

President, Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) Sir Anthony O. Emeribe, stated this while speaking with newsmen at the delegates conference of the body in Benin-City, Edo State at the weekend.
