Luanda — The 11st meeting of the Africa Immunisation and Coordination Task Force
and the 10th meeting of the Inter-Agencies Coordination Committee, opened
today in Luanda with a ceremony chaired by Angolan prime minister, Fernando
da Piedade Dias dos Santos "Nandó".
The meetings being attended by 173 delegates from about 50 countries,
are aimed at improving strategies for the eradication of poliomyelitis, the
vaccination against measles, the strengthening of routine vaccination
programmes and of the epidemiological surveillance.
