Nigeria: ICPC Vows to Jail Afolabi, Others

Abuja — Despite the bail granted Chief Sunday Afolabi, former Internal Affairs Minister and four others in the $214 million National I.D. Card fraud, the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) said it is determined to jail the accused persons because it has incontrovertible evidence linking the suspects with fraud.

Top officials of the commission revealed to P.M.News this morning that the commission took its time in the investigation of the fraud, adding that painstaking steps were taken to verify the fraud allegations.
