Johannesburg — AN OPINION survey which covered a sample representing 1,1-billion people
more than a sixth of the world's population indicates that half of them feel
"unsafe, powerless and gloomy" about the future security and prosperity of
the world.
But the Geneva-based World Economic Forum (WEF), which commissioned
pollsters Gallup International to conduct the survey, said that Africa was
more upbeat than average about the future.
