Huambo — The Angolan capital city, Luanda, will be clean within six months, it was affirmed on Wednesday, in the province of Huambo, by the coordinator of the city's new managing commission, Higino Carneiro.
"With hard work it is possible to change the look of Luanda in six months", assured Higino Carneiro, the current minister of Public Works, who was recently appointed through a presidential decree, as the coordinator of the city's new managing commission for a six-month period.
Last Friday, the President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, dismissed the governor of Luanda, Simão Paulo and his deputies and replaced them with the referred commission which is also integrated by the Secretary of the Cabinet Council, António Van-Dúnem and by the vice-minister of Youth and Sports, Job Capapinha.
