Chinguar — Some 450 residences were destroyed, in Chinguar district, central Bie province, following heavy rains that hit the region since earlier this month, ANGOP has learnt from the local administrator, Calvino Chingongo.
According to the source, 13 primary schools were also damaged.
The administrator called on the United Nations specialized agencies and non-governmental organizations based here to relieve the local population.
