Uganda: Viewing Orombi in the Context of the Church

Kampala — Archbishop elect Henry Luke Orombi will today (January 25) be enthroned as the new archbishop of the Church of Uganda. His enthronement at St Paul's Cathedral Namirembe falls on the eve of the 18th NRM anniversary.

Orombi, the former Bishop of Nebbi Diocese, will be the 7th Anglican archbishop of the Church Of Uganda after Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo, Yona Okoth, Silvanus Wani, Janan Luwum, Eric Sabiti and Brown Leslie.
