This all female musical group recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with new ambitions.

Tribute Sisters of Cameroon is a group of young female choristers based in Yaounde. The group recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with plans to use their voices to seek for God's intervention on disasters (such as HIV/AIDS) plaguing the world today. They have so far launched five albums such as "Active Behind the Storm", which contained impressive echoes from music houses since the cassette and C.D went on sell. The group is renown for its creativity as they are able to compose songs on current events. This is seen in their album "Tribute to the Lions Volume I and II" which recently hit the radio waves and market places especially as the African Nations Cup is on. This, according to the founding president, Mbenkum Adeline, is a sign of their patriotism to the nation.

The Tribute Sisters recently got acquainted with Sweet Adeline International(SAI) which is a world wide organisation of women singers, committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershops harmony with headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma in USA. This has given them satellite status, becoming thus the pioneer prospective chapter in the whole of Africa. Membership to the group is open only to girls and women who are good in singing, willing to improve on their talent, belonging to a Christian group and having a high degree of team spirit.

The Tribute Sisters started with seven members in 1993 but today the group has 15 members because of its new dimension of training young girls to become professional singers.
