Zambia: Miyanda States His Case Over MPs

HERITAGE Party president, Brigadier-General Godfrey Miyanda, yesterday told the Supreme Court that his party has been disenfranchised by the appointment of two of his members of parliament, Neddy Nzowa and Ronald Banda, as deputy ministers.

Gen. Miyanda told deputy Chief Justice, David Lewanika, who was sitting with two other judges, Lombe Chibesakunda and Peter Chisenga, that the party had suffered a setback as a result of the two MPs joining government.
