Tunisia: International Cooperation Examined By Cabinet Meeting

Tunis — The evolution of foreign relations and Tunisia's international cooperation were examined in a cabinet meeting held today under the chairmanship of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.

The meeting reviewed Tunisia's bilateral and multilateral relations with different countries and examined the ways and means to boost the level of partnership with these countries.

President Ben Ali recommended the follow-up of preparations for upcoming events and identifying projects likely to favor the reinforcement of Tunisia's international cooperation and foreign investment, especially in sectors of special priority, such as higher education, scientific research, electronic trade and communication technologies.
