Nigeria: More Ukranian Expatriates Arrive to Revive Ajaokuta Steel Plant

SOLGAS, the turnaround Manager of the Ajaokuta Steel Company, recently received 27 Ukrainian engineers expected to complete work on the complex and gave the assurance that the plant would come on stream by May this year.

The company's Corporate Affairs Manager, Eddy Olafeso, made the disclosure in Ajaokuta pointing out that the latesat arrival brings to 50 the number of Ukrainian steel engineers now working on the steel rolling mills abandoned 15 years ago.
