Tunisia: Iraqi Business Delegation Visits Tunisia

Tunis — An Iraqi business delegation of the Baghdad chamber of commerce led by its chairman Mohamed Hassan Mohamed Ali El Kezaz, paid a working visit to Tunisia from 17 to 2 February, at the invitation of the Tunisian Exports Promotion Centre (CEPEX).

The aim of the visit is to boost trade relations between Tunisian and Iraqi private sector businessmen.

The Iraqi chamber's chairman discussed with Tunisian trade minister Mondher Zenaidi means to develop trade relations and partnership between the two countries' investors.

The Iraqi delegation held talks with several institutional and professional organizations, particularly the Tunisian industry, trade and handicrafts union (UTICA).

Representatives of the Baghdad chamber of commerce and those of the Tunis chamber of commerce and industry, also discussed ways and means to strengthen cooperation in matters of exchanging visits and information on trade laws and regulations as well as on the investment opportunities and trade exchanges provided by both countries.
