Mozambique: Not All Nampula Residents Believe the Brazilian Nun By Paul Fauvet

Maputo — The hysterical and sensationalist reporting in parts of the Mozambican press about the alleged trafficking in children and in body parts in the northern province of Nampula is beginning to elicit angry reactions from some Nampula citizens, outraged at the attempt to demonise a couple of foreign investors.

For the Brazilian nun Maria Elialda dos Santos, who is the main source for the claims of trafficking, has accused the owners of a poultry company, South African Gary O'Connor and his Danish wife, Tania Skytte, of involvement in this repugnant trade.
