Makeni — Dr. Rabbi Melchizedek Azolene of Makani has claimed that he has finally found the cure for the dreadful HIV/AIDS virus.

Speaking to Concord Times in the northern township recently, the Doctor who runs a Laboratory at his 9 Magburuka Road residence, Makeni says he discovered the cure for the disease through native herbs.

He calls the herb, 'Moses divine Antacid powder.' Dr. Azolene said he has treated lot of patients from Bo, Kenema, Freetown and other places who were already tested positive for HIV/ AIDS and added, " I have treated a lot of AIDS patients and they have been cured of the disease." According to him, any patient who uses his medicine must not drink black tea, coffee, 'ataya', chew cola nuts and must completely avoid smoking cigarette and drinking wine.

Dr. Azolene claimed that he has discovered a lotion from this same herb which cures eye problems and skin infections.

He however expressed disappointed that despite the wonderful things he is doing, neither government nor the National AIDS Secretariat have come to his aid.
