Lagos — Crucial mortgage finance business has commenced in Benin City, the Edo State Capital, as Union Homes Savings and Loans, a subsidiary of Union Bank opened its doors for business in the ancient city.
The Benin City branch of Union Homes is the 20th branch of the Primary Mortgage Institution (PMI), since its establishment 10 years ago. This branch, which is the first by the PMI in Edo and Delta States, was strategically located at No. 96, New Lagos Road in the New Benin Business District.
Mr. Uche Onyeabo, Union Homes Assistant General Manager, Corpo-rate Affairs/Marketing, said the Benin branch's quality products and services would boost numerous economic activities in the state, particularly in its housing sector, which he described as having "good vibrancy potentials."
"Union Homes has an outstanding record of being the first financial institution to deliver houses to contributors of the National Housing Fund in Lagos and Abia States," said Onyeabo.
He urged residents of the state, particularly investors workers, captains of industry and businessmen to take advantage of the establishment of the new branch to expand the scope and success of their business.
