Ghana Increases Participation in Formulation of IMO Conventions

GHANAIAN Maritime administrators have concluded plans to increase its participation in the formulation of International Maritime Organisation (IMO), conventions to understand the formative stages of such conventions, and to bring it to bear on its domestic law management.

In a statement, the Ghanaian Minister for Port Harbours and Railways, Professor Ameyaw Akumfi, stated that the country's maritime administrators decided to increase its participation so that the international dimension of maritime practice will not be lost on its operators.
