Kampala — COACH Yayiro Kasasa has warned his Madagascan counterpart Celestin Ratovoarimanana that the Uganda Rugby Cranes juggernaut will be in top gear when the two sides clash at the Kampala Rugby Club grounds on Saturday.
"Madagascar will be treated to a tough ride because with me are a group of players talented enough to win Saturday's home game," said Kasasa.
A 26-man Madagascan delegation was due in the country yesterday night ready to face the good, the bad and ugly sides of the Ugandan team wheeling with plenty of confidence.
The Rugby Cranes emerged triumphant 32-30 the last time the two sides met in the same tournament in August last year.
Cranes tactical credentials were put to test last Saturday in their ultimate test against a select Uganda Barbarians' side.
Cranes emerged winners 24-20.
Kasasa believes Saturday's Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) game will present the ultimate test of his team's credentials and could be the turning point of the campaign.
South African official Louis Mzomba will be centre referee assisted by countrymen J.C. Fortuin and Barry Mzomba.
