Nairobi — Talks between employers of seven truck drivers and the mediator
appointed by the hostage-takers that broke down last week have resumed as
speculation showed that the hostages could now be in Fallujah or its
neighborhood. Earlier reports had said they were in Mosul area.
The drivers, three Indians, three Kenyans and an Egyptian, were taken
hostage in Iraq almost one month ago. There have been shaky negotiations
between their employer, Kuwait Gulf Link Transport Company, (KGL) and a
mediator Sheikh Hisham al-Dulaimi.
