Nigeria: Dokubo Surrenders 188 Guns

Port Harcourt — Leader of the Niger Delta Volunteer Peoples Force (NDVPF), Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari yesterday surrenders an armoury of 188 guns to the Federal Government Task Force on disarmament of militia and cult groups in Rivers State.

The guns were surrendered at the 2nd Amphibious Brigade, Port Harcourt, Rivers State Governor and chairman of the Task Force, Dr. Peter Odili, while receiving the guns appealed to foreign countries and manufacturers of arms to regulate the export of such illegal arms.
