The Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) has begun registration of clubs for the novelty Table Tennis league scheduled for next year.
The event dubbed "ATL Table Tennis League", will feature five regions, the security services, Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) as well as other interested groups.
Mr Emmanuel Oteng-Aboagye, general secretary of the GTTA in a statement copied to the GNA Sports said all participating teams are to register at the secretariat of the association with an amount of ˘100,000 before or on December 3.
The statement said the association would after the exercise hold a technical meeting with the registered clubs to determine the modalities for the competition, the kick-off date and the venues.
It added that seven players would represent each team with four males, three females and two officials making up a team.
According to the statement, clubs from the security services, GUSA and the Greater Accra Regional team will be representing the capital city whilst Winneba Academy, Kwanyarko Club, Swedru club and Cape Coast club will be representing the Central Region.
The statement said the Volta, Eastern and Ashanti Regions would be represented by single teams.
