Lubango — A new drinking water supply and captation system will, as from next year, be built in the communes of Capelongo and Argeres, Matala district, southern Huila province, in the ambit of a government programme designed to improve the basic and social services delivered to the population.
The information was given to ANGOP, in Lubango, by the provincial director of Energy and Water Affairs, Abel Joao da Costa, who added that the projects will start likely in mid-January of next year and will benefit more than 30.000 local people.
The projects will be financed by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the Central Government, whose technical conditions are already in place.
