Luanda — The female senior team of Petro de Luanda have defeated today Morocco's Aschum by 39-11, in a third round match of the 19th edition of Africa's champion clubs Cup in handball, taking place since last Sunday in Casablanca.
At the interval, the Angolans were leading the score by 19-03. This the first win of the African clubs champions, after beating in the previous round Inter Club of Congo Brazzaville, by 40-28.
On Wednesday, Petro de Luanda face Rombo of Ivory Coast, the runners up of the last edition.
