Kampala — Uganda has lately been experiencing minor earthquakes in the lakes Albert and Victoria areas, an official from the geology commissioner's office has said.
"Small cases have been recorded," said Mr Fred Tugume, a geophysicist. "Magnitude of 3.5 [quakes] have been recorded along the Katonga break, which runs from western Uganda through Lake Victoria."
