Nairobi — Police dreams of setting up the much-needed forensic laboratory went up in smoke with the yet-to-be resolved Anglo Leasing scandal.

The shadowy Anglo Leasing and Finance Company entered into a shady contract in which the Moi and Kibaki governments paid out billions of shillings to build forensic laboratories for the CID for Sh4 billion.
