Nigeria: Oil And Gas Free Trade to Be Constructed in A/Ibom

Uyo — The Commissner for Lands and Housing in Akwa Ibom state, Engr Iroigank Ikann has disclosed that an oil and gas free trade zone is to be constructed in Mbo local Government Area.

The commissioner disclosed this while addressing chiefs, elders, women and youth leaders in Mbo at Mbo Local Government Secretariat Hall.

He added that the project when completed would be a specialized oil and gas logistic facility that would aid the industrialization of the State.

The Lands and Housing Commissioner reiterated that the project, would be private sector driven even though it will be facilitated by the government.

He urged the people of Mbo to ensure that they create the enabling environment to quicken the process of the oil and gas trade free zone by cooperating with the experts that would soon come to conduct soil test, positioning of facilities.
