THE National Aids Council (NAC) has come under fire for sidelining farm workers in various HIV and Aids intervention programmes in the country, despite shocking statistics that the farming community is one of the hardest hit sectors by the scourge.
The Standard understands that five years after the National Aids Trust Fund (NATF) was set up, farm workers have not benefited from the fund, although they also paid the Aids Levy.
