Angola: Singer Ernesto Ventura Presents Debut CD On Sunday

Luanda — Angolan singer Ernesto Ventura presents on Sunday, at the gate of the National Radio of Angola (RNA), in Luanda, his debut CD entitled "Mwana N'gola".

With 10 songs, the CD was produced in countries like France, Ireland and Portugal, and was instrumentally accompanied by Angolan guitarists João Cabeleira and Zé Mwele Puto, the latter was a former member of Jovens do Prenda band.

Recorded at Timbre Studios, the CD has songs in music styles such as Kizomba, Afrojazz and Semba.

In this first edition, the production edited 3,500 copies, from which only 1,200 are to be sold in Angola. The rest were distributed in Portugal, Ireland, U.S.A and France.

Speaking to Angop the musician stated that, his debut album gives privilege to messages of peace, love abd solidarity among Angolans.

Ernesto Ventura stated that part of the revenues obtained in the sale of the CD, which is placed at USD 10, will support the transportation of hygiene and detergants materials bound for the population of his native Uíge province, which is currently facing the deadly Marburg outbreak
