Angola: Moxico: EU Gives Over 7 Million for Rehabilitation of Bridges

Lwena — The European Union has given over 7 million US dollars for the rehabilitation, by 2006, of twenty metallicic bridges in the road sections between Lucusse/Lumbala Guimbo, and Lucusse/Lumbala Kaquengue, in the eastern Moxico Province.

The bridges, which are over 45 metres long, will facilitate the link between Moxico's chief town, Lwena, and the municipalities of Bundas and Alto-Zambeze.
