Lagos — AGRICULTURAL development in Nigeria has in the past, been undermined by all sorts of impediments. Farmers often complained about unfavourable public policies, lack of funds and storage facilities among others.
Sometimes, natural disasters also constitute some of the debilitating factors. Flood, locust invasion and quiler birds rampage, especially in the Northern parts, have often retarded the fortunes of farmers.
