FORMER Warriors coach Sunday Chidzambwa will be in charge of Dynamos when the Harare giants lock horns with Buymore at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon.
Morrison Sifelani, Dynamos Chief Executive Officer, revealed on Thursday Chidzambwa would lead the side against the unpredictable Premiership lightweights.
Sifelani said: "July Sharara was just helping out and it is high time Chidzambwa took over. Like we always said before, these former players were never appointed to any post in the team. They were just helping out as volunteers. Chidzambwa will appoint his assistants - that is up to him to decide."
Dynamos will come face-to-face with their former sons James Matola and Francis Chandida. Former Kwekwe Cables striker Dylan Chiroodza has been playing well and on his day can be a handful.
The former champions have been breathing hot and cold. After the match the troubled De Mbare house faces a severe backlash from the Premiership after they reiterated that they would not been accepting privilege cards. Sifelani said his club is embarking on a fund-raising drive.
"The second window period (in July) should be opening and we need all the money we can get to buy players. Nobody is going to get in for free," said Sifelani.
In other league matches, Highlanders take on Willard Khumalo's Lancashire Steel at their fortress Barbourfields Stadium. Bosso have a fair chance of lifting the Premiership title this season.
However, they will be facing tricky customers in the mould of the Kwekwe side. Bosso will bank on the exploits of young Patrick Mpofu.
Monomatapa, a Harare side, travel to Gweru to face Chapungu at Ascot Stadium. It is a match, which can go either way. Chapungu's Maxwell Dube has found a new lease of life since his return to the airmen.
At Mucheke Stadium, the battle will be on between Masvingo United and AmaZulu.
