Lagos — IWUANYANWU National handler, Stanley Eguma says his former club, Dolphins were only lucky to have secured a draw last weekend in the week 22 showdown that ended 1-1 inside the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt.
Eguma, did not mince words in declaring that Dolphins, who are still in the CAF Confederation Cup race do not have a solid team.
"They (Dolphins) were only lucky to have secured a point. They made too many mistakes. They simply don't have a good team."
Continuing, Eguma said: "It was an exciting match though. My team was by far better. We outclassed Dolphins in every department of the game."
Nationale went into the lead in the tension soaked match in the 67th minute through their hitman Mbwas Mangut. Kelechi Osunwa saved Dolphns from what would have been an embarrassing home defeat with his 75th minute strike.
Dolphins paraded their two Ivorien imports, Dosso Alhassana and Toure Mamadou. The Garden City side have failed to live up to expectation this season, as everything points to their not retaining the league shield, given their present position on the league table.
