South Africa: G20 Seminar on Economic Growth Kicks Off in Pretoria

Pretoria — The central banks of South Africa, Mexico and China are co-hosting a seminar here to find ways of sustaining economic growth, for the developing world particularly.

Welcoming delegates at the start of the two-day seminar, South Africa's Reserve Bank governor Tito Mboweni said the seminar was expected to discuss issues such as institutional arrangements, economic growth, demographic challenges and fiscal sustainability.
