Luanda — North-American rap singer Missy Elliott is due to arrive this Wednesday afternoon in the Angolan capital (Luanda) where she will perform on Thursday at 07pm, in Karl Marx cinema, here, in the "One million Show" promoted by "Unitel" cellphone company.
Missy Elliott, who comes to Angola for the first time, will be accompanied by a 36-member group, including dancers, DJïs and the Staff.
On Thursday morning her agenda includes a press conference in one of Luanda's hotels.
Tickets for the show started being sold on December 01 for USD 25, the public can send messages or call in order to vote for the best Missy Elliott's song, choosing between "Lose Control", on the number 905 000 100 and "Get your freek on" (905 000 200).
According to the organisation, in each 100 votes Unitel will offer a free ticket for the show, on the last voting day four lucky clients will be chosen to have access to the backstage crew and personally meet Missy Elliott, take a picture and receive an authograph.
The show will also be attended by Angolan R&B and Rap singers such as Kalibrados group, Afroman and Lawilca.
Melissa Arnette Elliott or Missy Elliott, 33, is one of the most respected figures of the American music.
