Uganda: Women Acquire Ict Skills

Kampala — WOMEN entrepreneurs have been trained in information and communication technology (ICT) to get skills relevant to their businesses.

Makerere University's Faculty of Computing and Information Technology carried out the training in partnership with Barclays Bank.

The women belong to Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association.

Nick Mbuvi, Barclays Bank's managing director, said the training would empower the women to fully participate in activities that enhance economic development.
