Local Government councils and Development Areas in Nasarawa State may have lost the battle to get the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) to extend their tenure from two to three years.
The chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) Nasarawa State chapter, Alhaji Musa Saidu had in the last six months been in the fore front of lobbying both the executive, legislature and the ruling party (PDP) to extend its tenure to three years.
