Nigeria: Court Summons INEC Boss Over APGA Crisis

Abuja — A Federal high court sitting in Abuja yesterday ordered the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),Professor Maurice Iwu, to personally appear before it on May 8, this year in order to testify in an on-going leadership tussle in APGA.

The presiding high court judge in the case, Justice Stephen Adah had also fixed same date (May 8) for ruling in an application by two chieftains of APGA, Chief Victor Umeh and Shinkafi seeking to be joined as parties in the suit.
