Kenya: Destruction of Sh6.4b Cocaine Put On Hold

Nairobi — Destruction of the Sh6.4 billion cocaine haul has now been put on hold indefinitely to await testing by international experts, the Government has announced.

A daylong meeting of representatives from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Government Chemist police, Judiciary, British and American governments on Thursday resolved that the destruction be postponed and be done "soonest" possible.
