Harare — FOUR Zimbabweans have been arrested in Botswana for allegedly stealing fuel worth more than $400 million from depots in Gaborone.
According to the Botswana Press Agency, the four were intercepted separately in Gaborone. Three were arrested on Thursday with 19 drums of petrol worth about 16 000 pula ($304 million). Police said they suspected that the three, aged between 30 and 37, wanted to smuggle the fuel to Zimbabwe as they failed to name the destination of the commodity, when questioned. Another Zimbabwean was arrested after he was found with 20 860 Pula which he could not account for.
