Ondjiva — A municipal hospital to cater for 150 patients a day was inaugurated Tuesday in Namacunde district, southern Cunene province, at a ceremony presided over by local governor, Pedro Mutinde, Angop witnessed.
The works are estimated at about Akz 33 million and the equipments over three millions. Usd 1 is estimated at Akz 82,00.
The hospital has surgery, first aid and paediatrics wards, three pharmacies, a maternity hospital, among other areas.
With this work, Cunene province has now three hospitals and 70 health centres.
