Benguela — The Prime Minister of Portugal, José Sócrates offered on Thursday an ambulance equipped with health material to the provincial Government of Benguela, to cover some of the necessities of the health sector.
Speaking to the press, José Sócrates said that the offer is a kindness that the Portuguese Government showed to the health sector in Benguela and at the same time the sign of co-operation between Angola and Portugal.
The Portuguese Prime Minister carried out a visit of some hours to southern Benguela province, accompanied by his Angolan counterpart, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, in which he met with the Portuguese community and visited enterprises with capital from some companies of Portugal.
