Ethiopia: China to Help Generate Hydroelectric Power

Rivonia — Ethiopia's President has confirmed that it wants Chinese support in its efforts to utilise the country's hydroelectric potential.

President Girma Woldegiorgis, who was hosting Beijing's deputy mayor, Zhang Mao, said that China would play an important role in helping Ehtiopia produce sustainable hydroelectric power.

Mao said that Beijing would be willing to share its experiences in terms of power generation and urban traffic planning with Addis Ababa.
