Ondjiva — Angolan deputy minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dario Catata, considered as worrying the sector of control of the Institute of Forest Development in southern Cunene province.
The official said so Wednesday at the end of a three-day visit to Cunene and highlighted the need provide the sector with more technicians and equipment.
Dario Catata, who acknowledged that the control officers earn a poor salary, defended the setting up of a career to reward this task of risk, adding that this matter needs an immediate solution.
On the other hand, he recommended the improvement of existing nurseries in order to provide them with capacity of producing the major number of trees to restore the districts and communes vegetation.
