Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia are rehabilitating the railway line in the Nacala Development Corridor, which will open a key transportation route for the three countries.
Construction work started in November 2005 but was halted temporarily after persistent heavy rains on the 77-km stretch between Cuamba and Entra-Lagos within Mozambique.
