Nigeria: Resign Or Be Removed, Abia PDP Tells Kalu

Abuja — LEADERS of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday charged Governor Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia State to resign from office within seven days or they would make the state ungovernable for him.

In a press briefing in Abuja yesterday the state chairman of the faction loyal to the national secretariat, Chief Alfredo Awah flanked by members of the Abia Leaders Forum said he could neither make a defence for the Governor nor for his government.
