Nigeria: Aids: Benue Rejects Ministry's Rating

Makurdi — Benue State Government has denied recent report presented by the Federal Ministry of Health, in which the state is said to have the highest cases of those living with HIV/AIDS in the country.

According to the recent Zero-Prevalence rate result released by the Federal Ministry of Health, Benue tops the list of most infected states with 10 per cent. The result was announced by the Minister of State for Health, Architect Halimat Tayo Alao, in Makurdi, during a two-day facility tour of the Federal Medical Centre Makurdi (FMC).
