He called on the African heads of state to give research a chance as well as embrace value of micro nutrients and vitamin c in prevention of HIV/AIDS.
In his remark, Ralf Langer, a trained pharmacologist, said the foundation has volumes of scientific evidence to show
that big multinational pharmaceutical giants are deliberating subverting attempts by independent scientists to find a cure to HIV. He decried the position of such multinationals describing them as perpetuating poverty among the third world nation and the rest of the world. Langer traced the reluctance of these foreign multinationals to selfish tendency to continue to milk
vulnerable countries, insisting that billions of dollar profit recorded annually ought to suffice for serious research into a major cure.According to him the Dr Rath Foundation has since discovered through research that HIV/AIDS can be mitigated and human immune system boost significantly through in take of Vitamin C and other combination of micro nutrients and supplements from natural food. He however expressed regret that the findings of the institute are being tagged illegal through several litigation processes moved by giant pharmaceutical companies.
The Foundation's African Affairs co-ordinator,Ono Abada said the time has come for Africans to free themselves from mental slavery of any kind. He said though the research results of the foundation are accessible to all who need them free of charge, the volume of persons able to benefit from such micro nutient may be limited by the dogma that no solution exists for HIV or TB.He said the foundation remains committed to helping to educate people on the importance of micro nutrients and vitamin c for boosting of body immunity against all kinds of infection.
