Kigali — The lawsuit lodged by six Rwandans against the French army for its alleged role in the 1994 Genocide has taken a strange twist, with the French Military Prosecution trashing information collated by Brigitte Raynaud, a Prosecutor previously handling the case.
The development follows a May 29 verdict, in which the French Court of Appeal overruled an earlier ruling by a lower court that had only sanctioned two of the petitions and dismissed the other four.
