Kampala — Have you been missing great moments of any sports game while away from your screen?
Well, MultiChoice Uganda last week launched the revolutionary Personal Video Recorder (PVR) worth Ush1.35 million (US$732) to enhance viewing of any sports game.
While launching the gadget at Kabira Club outside Kampala, MultiChoice Uganda's advertising manager Mr Peter Mungoma said, 'The PVR has all the features of a dual-view decoder and incorporates a hard drive on which programming can be recorded. Ronaldinho may miss a few goals and part of the action but you won't miss any moment of magic with the PVR since you can watch on two different channels while recording on the third'.
Among other remarkable features, the PVR has a hard disk drive that can store up to 80 hours of programming, live pause, live instant replay, live slow motion, full control over recorded programming and a 24-hour World Cup channel among others.
The price of the new state of the art facility, had been reduced from $395 to $299 while upgrading from single view is $685, dual view $670 and the monthly access fee for the PVR is $76.
The PVR was launched in Kenya in May.
